What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type into it: your name, phone number, email address, and the details you give us about your property. We do not ask for a Social Security number, a bank account, or any payment information, and you should never send those to us.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as the type of device and browser used to load a page. We do not use this to identify you.
Why we collect it
We use what you send us for two purposes. First, to evaluate whether your property fits what we are looking for. Second, to contact you about it. That is the whole list. We do not use it to advertise unrelated products to you, and we do not add you to a general mailing list.
Contacting you by phone and text
When you send us a form, you are agreeing that we may reach you by phone, text message, or email about your property. This is the full wording shown on the form itself:
By sending this, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message, or email about your property. Message and data rates may apply. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will. Agreeing is not a condition of any sale or purchase.
We contact you about your land and nothing else. If you want us to stop, say so on a call, reply STOP to a text, or email us, and we will stop. You do not have to give a reason and it will not affect anything else.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We do not trade it, and we do not provide it to anyone marketing unrelated products to you.
We do use outside services to run our business, including a customer relationship system that stores contact records and an email provider that delivers our messages. Those companies process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. If we move toward a transaction on your property, we may need to share relevant details with parties directly involved in that transaction, such as a title company or an attorney.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep property and contact records for as long as they are useful to the work described above. If you want your information removed, email us and we will remove it, and we will not ask you to justify the request. Where we have a legal obligation to retain something, for example records tied to a completed transaction, we keep only that.
Cookies and how we know where you came from
This site does not use advertising cookies, does not use any third party analytics service, and does not track you across other websites. Nothing about your visit is sent anywhere except to us, and only if you choose to fill in the form.
When you submit the form we record two extra things alongside your answers: the website that sent you here, if your browser passed one along, and the first page of ours that you opened. We store only the site name, never the full address you came from, so a search you ran or a conversation you had elsewhere stays private. We use it to understand which of our pages actually help landowners find us.
Both are held in your browser for the length of your visit and are cleared when you close the tab. If you never submit the form, they never reach us at all.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@poweredlandco.com and we will take care of it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will.
Children
This site is meant for adults who own or manage land. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
